What is Artificial Intelligence (AI)?
John McCarthy, the father and founder of Artificial Intelligence (AI), stated that Artificial Intelligence was “The science, engineering, and design of intelligent machines, including intelligent computer programs.”
As the name suggests AI imparts intelligence to machines in order for them to operate as if they were human beings. AI is the area of computer science that focuses upon creating intelligent machines that behave, work, and react in a similar way to humans. Machines use AI to analyze real-time situations in order to make decision. Artificially Intelligent machines interpret real-time data, understand business scenarios, and respond accordingly.
Some activities for which the artificially intelligent machine are made are:

- Learning
- Planning
- Problem-solving
AI has become an important component of Information Technology. This branch strives to develop intelligent machines. AI involves specialized and highly technical research.
One of the greatest problems with AI is coding and programming computers in order to perform specific functions such as

Ability to manipulate
AI is about the transformation of a computer to a computer-controlled robot.
Understanding how the brain works is essential to using AI to develop intelligent systems. You must study the brain to learn how it thinks, learns and decides while solving a problem. Next, the data must be applied to software to create intelligent and smart systems.
Knowledge Engineering is the fundamental concept of AI research. If they have enough information regarding the business and the environment, machines can act, operate, and react just like human beings. AI should have full access to all data regarding objects, properties, and relationships between business use cases, in order for it to effectively implement Knowledge Engineering. But it is difficult and tedious to provide machines with common sense and the ability to make decisions, reason, and solve problems.
Philosophy of Artificial Intelligence
Computer systems have been around for a while. Human beings have had machines for centuries, but man has always been curious about these slaves. This curiosity led man ask the question: “Can a machine think and operate like humans?”
AI was developed with the aim of creating machines that act and react like human beings.
